2026 University of Delaware High Performance Summer Skating School JULY 12-24 2026

Registration Opens March 16, 2026!

Summer Skating School with University Housing:

  • 6 on-ice sessions per day Monday-Friday 

  • Two off-ice classes per week (Monday and Wednesday)

  • Two on-ice classes per week (Tuesday and Thursday)

  • Guided Workouts (Tuesday and Thursday)

  • Access to the VIP Lounge for breakfast/lunch each day Monday-Friday 

  • Housing Sunday-Friday

  • Breakfast/Lunch at Ice Arena, Dinner at a University Delaware dining facility

  • RA will provide supervision at dorms, and counselor will provide supervision at rink

  • PLANS DO NOT INCLUDE PRIVATE LESSONS OR ON ICE INSTRUCTION. You can add private lessons to any on-ice sessions. See coaches list below.

Summer Skating School without University Housing:

  • 6 on-ice sessions per day Monday-Friday 

  • Two off-ice classes per week (Monday and Wednesday)

  • Two on-ice classes per week (Tuesday and Thursday)

  • Guided Workouts (Tuesday and Thursday)

  • Access to the VIP Lounge for lunch each day Monday-Friday

  • Counselor 8am-4pm

  • PLANS DO NOT INCLUDE PRIVATE LESSONS OR ON ICE INSTRUCTION. You can add private lessons to any on-ice sessions. See coaches list below.

2026 High Performance Summer School Registration Information: 
Summer Skating School with University Housing: $900 per week, $1,700 for both weeks
Summer Skating School without University Housing: $350 per week
Registration will open March 16, 2026! 

2026 High Performance Summer School Schedule (with housing and without housing): See daily schedule HERE. Please note, all High Performance sessions are categorized by discipline. Example: If your skater is working on Ice Dance, they will skate on the Ice Dance specific sessions in the Rust Arena. This is important to note when scheduling lessons. 

Private Lessons:

A frequently asked question is "Are lessons included with registration?" No, private lessons are arranged by contacting one or more of the coaches at the numbers provided on the coaches list. Lessons should be scheduled during the ice sessions that you register for; your coach needs to have availability during those sessions. Coaches are paid directly; not at the the Ice Arena office.
