2025 season information

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION PROCESSES AND PRICING HAS CHANGED FOR THE 2025 SEASON.

Registration Information:
To register, please go to recreation.udel.edu.
To create an account follow the steps in section 6

WHEN REGISTERING, EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER NEEDS TO FOLLOW THE PROCESS BELOW (Section 6) (INCLUDING MINORS). (Do not use the Add Family process to add additional family members)
  1. On the home page, click the “Memberships” icon. A pop-up window will appear.

    1. If you have an active UD ID number and University of Delaware CAS login credentials, sign in using the CAS button.
    2. If you DO NOT have a CAS login credential, click “Sign Up.”  Follow the prompts to create an account.  A unique email is required for each member - the same email address cannot be used for multiple people in a family. If you get an error that the email is already in use, you already have an account.  Enter the email in the Non-UD users box and click “Next.” If you don’t remember your password, click “Trouble signing in?” From there, you can reset your password. (Your email address is your username.)
  2. INDIVIDUALS: Select the “Individual/Head of Household” membership to purchase.

    1. Click the grey bar labeled “Outdoor Pool Summer.”
    2. Click “Add to Cart” and complete the checkout process, including acknowledgment of the Waiver.
  3. FAMILIES

    1. For Families each individual needs their own account and each individual will need to purchase the membership from their own account.  You must have separate log ons for each person including minors.  To get the minor pricing you must be logged into the minor's account to purchase the membership.  (Do not use the Add Family process to add additional family members)
    2. The Head of Household should select the “Individual/Head of Household membership.”  Click the grey bar labeled “Outdoor Pool Summer.”  Click “Add to Cart” and complete the checkout process, including acknowledgment of the Waiver.
    3. Additional Household Adults or Minors should select “Outdoor Pool Family Additional Member” membership.  Click the grey bar labeled “Outdoor Pool Summer.”  Click “Add to Cart.”  Enter the name of the Head of Household in the prompt response box.  Click “Continue” and complete the checkout process, including acknowledgment of the Waiver.             
      1. * You will need an unique email address for each member including minors, gmail is great as you can add a + after the main address ex. tony@gmail = tony+kid@gmail or a . to.ny@gmail they will send to the main  account, but our system will recognize as unique.
  4. A profile photo is required for each individual member.

    1. Submit your head shot photo online, this needs to be done for each member (please name the photo with your name.)  Submit your head shot here (this can be a selfie shot from your phone, just needs to be a clear photo showing your face.)

  5. UD LilBob App

    1. We will be using a barcode scan to enter.  Please make sure you download the UDLilBob App "Delaware Recreation" Apple Store and the Google Play Store.  You will need to have each individual log in to the app. When you open the app, there will be icons and the barcode icon is on the 4th row.  Click the Barcode Icon, the app will prompt you to log in with your user name and password and will generate a barcode.  You will scan this barcode to enter the pool.  This will be for all members including minors.  If you have minors without devices, you can log out and back in for them, or we can look them up by name.  (The barcode is dynamic and cannot be screenshot.) 
    2. The app will also have notifications where we will be able to send push notifications to your devices for weather closures which will hopefully make communication quick for dynamic weather days.
  6. TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT
    1. Go to recreation.udel.edu click “Sign In” top right corner  (best done on a computer, if on phone, turn phone sideways to see top right corner)
    2. Little window will pop up, scroll to bottom “Don’t have an account?” Click “Sign Up”
    3. Enter First Name and Last Name, click next
    4. Enter DOB, Gender, Phone, Click Next
    5. Enter email, password (make sure it follows the requirements), click the checkbox, click create account.
    6. You will get a confirmation email
    7. Then on the main page top right corner you should see your email address, to log out, click your email address and then in the pop up window click sign out.

2025 Membership Pricing
August - only memberships go on sale August 1st!  Enjoy a discounted membership for the last month of the summer, and join us at the UD Outdoor Pool!

Individual/Primary Adult Member (August): $84
Additional Household Adult Members(August): $67
Household Minor Member (August - under 18 at time of purchase): $17

Individual/Primary Adult Member: $250
Additional Household Adult Members: $200
Household Minor Member (under 18 at time of purchase): $50
Early Bird registration: Register between April 1 and April 30th, and receive a 10% discount on each individual’s registration cost

Memberships are non-refundable. 
 
*Adult: individuals 18 years of age, or older.
*Minor: individuals 17 years of age, or younger.
    Under 1 year old at time of purchase does not need a membership.
*An Individual/Primary Adult membership is required to purchase memberships for Household Adults or Minors.


Requests for Outdoor Pool pavilion reservations are now open

Policies:

  • All groups requesting use of the Outdoor Pool must reserve and rent the pavilion.

  • Reservation requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Requests will be confirmed via email to the individual completing the form.

  • Groups will not be permitted to reserve the entire pool.  We only offer reservations under our pavilion. Only pool members are eligible to reserve the pavilion for birthday parties.

  • Pavilion reservation capacity is limited to 30 people.

  • Pavilion rental price for pool members OR on-campus groups and departments: $175 for a two-hour block.

  • Pavilion rental price for camps or programs not affiliated with the University of Delaware: $200 for a two-hour block.

  • Payment of guest fees is required for all non-members before use of the pool can begin.

  • Cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a refund.  No-shows, or cancelations made less than 24 hours in advance, will not be refunded.

  • In the case of inclement weather, attempts will be made to reschedule reservations.  In the event that rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be issued.

  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted under the pavilion only.  Food is not permitted inside the pool area.  Glass is prohibited from the entire premises.
