2026 Season Information
Registration Information:
To register, please go to recreation.udel.edu.
New members: Complete Step 1 below.
Returning members: Begin at Step 2.
WHEN REGISTERING, ONLY THE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD NEEDS AN ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE MEMBERSHIPS. This is a change for the 2026 season beginning April 14th. (Do not use the Add Family process to add additional family members)
- TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT
- Go to recreation.udel.edu. click “Sign In” in the top right corner (best done on a computer. If on a phone, turn the phone sideways to see the top right corner)
- A window will pop up, scroll to the bottom - click “Don’t have an account?” - Click “Sign Up”
- Enter First Name and Last Name, click next
- Enter DOB, Gender, Phone, click Next
- Enter email, password (make sure it follows the requirements), click the checkbox, click create account. *A unique email is required for all members. The same email address cannot be used for multiple people in a family.
- You will get a confirmation email
- Then on the main page top right corner you should see your email address, to log out, click your email address and then in the pop up window click sign out.
- On the home page, click the “Memberships” icon. Then complete the steps below.
- Select all applicable memberships for your family, and add them to the checkout cart.
- Click the grey bar labeled “Outdoor Pool Summer.”
- Select one membership for each individual in your household. Click “Add to Cart” and complete the informational fields to describe each individual (name, date of birth).
- Example: for a family of four with two parents, add one Individual/Primary membership, one Additional Household Adult membership, and two Household Minor memberships to your cart.
- After each member of your household has been added to the Cart, complete the check out process.
- You will receive an email confirmation. On the credit card page, if you click the box for save card, that is only saving your credit card to your account, it is not processing the payment, if you still see your cart, you still need to check out. You can click the box to select a saved card to check out with that card.
- Profile Photo Upload - A profile photo is required for each individual member.
- Submit your head shot photo online, this needs to be done for each member (please name the photo with your name.) Submit your head shot here (this can be a selfie shot from your phone, just needs to be a clear photo showing your face.)
- Download the UD LilBob App
- We will be using a barcode scan to enter. Please make sure you download the UDLilBob App "Delaware Recreation" Apple Store and the Google Play Store. The Primary member will need to log in to the app. When you open the app, there will be icons and the barcode icon is on the 4th row. Click the Barcode Icon, the app will prompt you to log in with your user name and password and will generate a barcode. You will scan this barcode to enter the pool. After the barcode is scanned, the gate staff can look up other family members by name to check them in to the pool. (The barcode is dynamic and cannot be screenshot.)
- The app will also have notifications where we will be able to send push notifications to your devices for weather closures which will hopefully make communication quick for dynamic weather days.
2026 Membership Pricing
Individual/Primary Adult Member: $250
Additional Household Adult Members: $200
Household Minor Member (under 18 at time of purchase): $50
Early Bird registration: Register between April 1 and April 30th, and receive a discount on each individual’s registration cost (price reflected at checkout)
Memberships are non-refundable.
*Adult: individuals 18 years of age, or older.
*Minor: individuals 17 years of age, or younger.
Under 1 year old at time of purchase does not need a membership.
*An Individual/Primary Adult membership is required to purchase memberships for Household Adults or Minors.
Requests for Outdoor Pool pavilion reservations are open now.
Outdoor Pool Pavilion Reservation Request Form
Policies:
- All groups requesting use of the Outdoor Pool must reserve and rent the pavilion.
- Reservation requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests will be confirmed via email to the individual completing the form.
- Groups will not be permitted to reserve the entire pool. We only offer event reservations under our pavilion. Only pool members or organized groups are eligible to reserve the pavilion and host your event.
- Pavilion reservation capacity is limited to 30 people.
- Price for pool members OR on-campus groups and departments: $100 for a two-hour block.
- Price for camps or programs not affiliated with the University of Delaware: $125 for a two-hour block.
- Associated fees are due at the time of reservation confirmation. An invoice will be sent to the requestor’s email address. Reservations will only be scheduled once the invoice is paid.
- Cancellations must be made within one week of the reservation date to receive a refund of 50% of the rental cost.
- Cancellations made less than one week in advance are not eligible for any refund.
- Onsite payment of guest fees is required for all non-members before use of the pool can begin.
- In the case of inclement weather, attempts will be made to reschedule reservations. In the event that rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted under the pavilion only. Food is not permitted inside the pool area. Glass is prohibited from the entire premises.
