Fall HOURS are in effect starting Monday 8/28/23
  • General policies

        • Payment system has changed, there are no payments on IMLeagues, you have to buy a Intramural Membership on our website.

FAQs

Is the LilBob open?
With the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, situation continuing to evolve, your safety continues to be of the utmost importance to the University and the Athletics and Recreation Services Department.  The Carpenter Sports Building reopened Monday, August 31st for students and staff. All areas and programming is operational.
When will the gym be open?

What if I haven't picked up my UD ID card?
You need your UD ID card to access the facility.  You can make an appointment to pick it up at Student Services https://v2.waitwhile.com/book/idcardoffice

What equipment is available in each area?
Lower Level Strength Floor – selectorized machines, dumbbells and plates
Main Floor – Cardio machines, selectorized machines and dumbbells
Track Floor – Cardio machines, indoor track, selectorized machines and kettlebells
 
When do I need to wear a mask in the building?
A mask is not required to be worn in the building. In addition, patrons must follow the current University procedures to come to campus.  
 
Is the indoor pool open?
The pool is open for use during lap swim times.  Hours are available here.
 
Are the locker rooms and day use lockers available?
Yes, lockers and the locker rooms are available. Physical distancing and safe practices are required while using this space.
 
What areas of the gym are open?
All areas are open.  
 
Is equipment available to check out?
Towels, locks and sport equipment are available to be checked out.
 
Are the basketball courts open?
Courts are open
 
Are outdoor recreation spaces available for use?
Yes, Frazer Fields, Trabant facilities (basketball, sand volleyball and inline skating), Harrington facilities (sand volleyball), and Laird Campus facilities (basketball, sand volleyball and tennis) are all available at this time.
 
Can I bring a guest with me to the gym?
We are allowing guests to the gym for a $10 fee/day.  Fee must be paid by credit card (no cash payments)

Can I bring my child with me to the gym?
Minor dependents will be allowed into the facility with their UD ONEcard holding parent or guardian.
