AT HEBRON HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for Coach Steve Stone... selected Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 6A All-State Honorable Mention as an outfielder in 2017... also named District 6-6A District Pitcher of the Year as a senior in 2017... Posted a 5-3 record with a 2.02 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 58.2 innings on the mound and hit .381 with a .571 on-base percentage and .619 slugging percentage at the plate in 2017... selected Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 6A All-State First Team as an outfielder and Texas Sports Writers Association Third Team as an outfielder and Honor Mention as a pitcher as a junior in 2016... batted .394 with nine doubles, four triples and 28 RBI at the plate and posted a 9-3 record with a 0.64 ERA and 108 strikeouts in 2016...  tabbed Texas Sports Writers Association Honorable Mention as a pitcher as a sophomore in 2015... batted a school-record .462 with nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 22 RBI at the plate and posted a 9-2 record with a 1.58 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 2015... was also named District 5-5A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2014... batted .275 as a freshman… made it to the third round of playoffs in 2014 and ’16 and the second round in 2015… played summer ball for the Dallas Tigers.
 
PERSONAL: Zachary Dixon DeLoach was born on August 8, 1998 in Irving, Texas to Collins and Holly DeLoach... grew up in Lewisville, Texas... Sport Management major, wants to develop his skills for the business world and run his own business... grandfather, Charles McGaughey, played quarterback at Stephen F. Austin and other grandfather, Clyde DeLoach, was a marathon runner... has a younger brother, Casey... enjoys hunting, fishing, and being with friends and family... made A Honor Roll senior year and AB Honor Roll sophomore and junior years... was involved in FCA, I Am Second, and Metrocrest Food Drive... played in Puerto Rico when he was 12 and was on MLB Network for the National Youth Baseball Championships.
